Community Classes

Each community has varying types of classes available for their residents. Read on for more details and see our class calendar for the next class.

The Village at Northridge
The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is an exercise program designed specifically for people with arthritis that uses gentle activities to

  • help increase joint flexibility and range of motion
  • help maintain muscle strength

The class is offered a minimum of twice for an hour each week ad is the only one open to the general public.
Our classes are available to fit the participants fitness level – with exercises done while sitting, standing or on the floor.  Participants who participate in the class have experienced such benefits as increased functional ability, increased self-care behaviors, decreased pain and decreased depression.
